Year End 2021 and What’s Next

2021 Annual Report
It has been an unprecedented year for many at home and abroad however rest assured that God is good and his love endures forever. We are amazed by the gracious giving by you, our faithful supporters over the last year.
After ten years of climbing mountains the first truck we purchased for Pastor Belade finally wore out. So many of you came forward to donate $32,000 towards the purchase of a sturdy Land Rover. It has been such a blessing to have a reliable vehicle to reach these remote communities.

On August 14th, 2021 a 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck the Les Cayes area where Mephish ministry is located. Fortunately, many lives were spared but over 800 within the congregations were left homeless. Once again you gave, $11,300, which allowed individual homes at 5 of the MEPHISH communities to be rebuilt or repaired.

Water, a necessity of life, is still a daily struggle for many families. Through your donations we were able to pay $2900 towards a well that provides safe drinking water and saves hours of work transporting water from miles away.

Thanks to our donors even with these extra needs in 2021 New Mercy Ministries has been able to continue with monthly operations support and other projects such as replacing a church roof.

WHAT’S NEXT……We are excited about a new green-house project that will supply jobs and income. With coffee, cacao and fruit trees already growing well they will soon be ready to ship to waiting NGOs and government. We are requesting help to purchase a Renault work truck to be used for shipping plants. It will also be used to transport fertilizer to the field crops and useful in the harvesting process. Presently when purchasing sand for cement and blocks for building, the product is often poor quality. With his own work truck Belade will be able to purchase good quality supplies so building projects will be built stronger. The truck would also transport people to their conventions and could be hired out to generate income for maintenance of the truck. We ask that you prayerfully consider supporting this worthwhile project. We are thankful to say at this time to have collected $15,300 towards the $30,000 cost of this BIG TRUCK! Message from Belade:

Blessed be the Almighty one who knows how to carry the weakest. His ways are wonderful and amazing. It is really amazing how the Lord can take the hands of Christian Canadians to stretch them smoothly to Haitian Christians after the earthquake. So, us here, we are binded with you by the Holy Spirit. We thank you sooooo much for your help. Those with new homes join voices together to send a meaningful thanks. We pray for you all, so that you be increased in faith and numbers. Please count on our prayers always.

Psalm 126:5-6 5 Those who sow with tearswill reap with songs of joy.6 Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.

Your gifts are precious seeds and it is soon going to ripen. Love you all!

Belade
